How many times have you asked your child, "How was your day today? What did you do?" and heard, "It was o.k. Nothing." as a response?
Class Dojo is a tool that creates a dialogue between the classroom and the home regarding your student's school experience. An app you install on your phone, it connects you to Mrs. Winterbottom who will post pictures of the school day and share your student's successes and challenges. It offers you a snapshot of your child's day.
The Class Dojo app is also a simple way to communicate. Private messages can be sent between the teacher and parent and the teacher can send class-wide reminders and announcements.
To sign up, install the Class Dojo app on your device and input your child's unique sign-in code provided by Mrs. Winterbottom. Class Dojo is intended to be used by the parent and teacher, however, if your child has a device and would like to sign in to the app on their own, there is a separate student sign-in code for them to use. This also is available from Mrs. Winterbottom.
Mrs. Winterbottom will send home the Class Dojo passwords and information on the first day of school.
